The Nu-Epsilon Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity has been an active chapter at NMSU since January 15th 2000. We pride ourselves in being atop the best chapters on campus, and among the greatest of all Kappa Sigma Chapters.

We are approaching our 17th anniversary at NSMU. We have a 32 room house on campus which is full annually, in the past few years we brought home many awards including Outstanding Service and Philanthropy, Outstanding Education and Development, Outstanding Public Relations, and the Most Involvement and Campus Leadership Award.

Additionally, we are the Greek Week 2007, 2008, 2012, and 2016 Champions. Our president Julian Martinez was awarded Spring 2016 Outstanding Chapter President and our Grand Treasurer, Collin Brown, was awarded Outstanding Chapter Leader for Fall 2015 for his role as pledge educator.

Nationally, the Nu-Epsilon chapter was the proud recipients of seven Founder Award of Chapter Excellence (F.A.C.E Awards) - recognizing the top percentage of chapters nationwide, and two Founders Circle Awards - recognizing the Top 5 Chapters in the country. Last year we won one of those seven awards.

In our history at NMSU, we take great pride in having donated over $100,000 and over 30,000 man hours to local community groups, including the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill - Dona Ana County, Southern New Mexico Red Cross, the Fisher House Foundation, and others.

Overall, we here at Nu-Epsilon keep our brotherhood first and all else second, and will continue our vow of excellence for today, tomorrow, and forever.

Kappa Sigma isn't for a day, a month, or a college term only, but for LIFE.
